Define the monitoring task and platform
State the emergency-monitoring purpose, site access, terrain and required field information. Compare robot, drone and vehicle configurations by their ability to carry the specified detector and return the required records. Radiation sensors can be integrated into different mobile platforms; match the sensor and carrier as one configuration.

Specify the radiation payload
List the required measurement quantity, radiation type, range, probe, payload mass and power, together with the calibration documents. Identify whether the quotation includes the detector, field camera, positioning, controller and analysis software. Keep optional sensors and licences separate and request a clear integration and delivery list.
Agree communications and data output
Specify whether the team needs live information, locally stored records or both. Request time and location with dose-rate readings, the required field images and an export format usable by the response team. Check the proposed communications arrangement, data permissions and the behaviour when a connection is unavailable.

Accept the complete response package
Agree a representative demonstration with the proposed payload, operating conditions and power arrangement. Verify that the required measurements and images are delivered with usable records. Include operator training, equipment checks, maintenance, recovery arrangements and service support in the handover, with model-specific operating limits.
